551K USD was pumped into the Chinese domestic market today

3,739,468 Yuan (551857 USD) was invested into the Chinese domestic market today as per the data shown in Chaomi.CC This huge turnover happened after a gap of 5 days. This is not anything unusual if you regularly track the market. You keep seeing this but this is an indication of huge buying interest of Chinese domains and its power to turn things overnight.

yuan to usd

Our Chinese domestic market trend tracker shows 4L.com chips at the first place and 3L.CC chips at the second place for today.

4L.com chips are usually at the first place even when the pumped in money is lesser. Also, we see not much difference in the volume of 4L.com chips traded compared to the day before. 69 4L.com chips were traded on the day before which was one of the lower turn over days, and today the count was 57. So the increase in turn over could have come from the purchase of 75 3L.cc chips which came at the second place, with the support of other niches below it.

All it takes is a few big groups to pump in a part of their wealth for the Chinese domain market to go up.

  • Interesting how the majority of Western investors see .cc as a bad play. It’s the easiest extension to type in the World and it’s run by the same company that runs .com. Nice to see some activity. It could stand for “Chinese Company”, “Crypto Currency”, “Corpus Christi” and lots of other phrases or word combinations.
    Great info!

    • First of all, when it comes to Chinese domains, they have only 4 tlds that are majorly used. COM, NET, CN, and CC. CC is a preferred extension and as you indicated it is short and sweet. The Chinese domain market price tracker Chaomi is using a CC extension. Thanks for your thoughts, Steve!
